I specialize in identifying strengths and weaknesses in order to design tailored, successful reading programs for all ages, especially those diagnosed with dyslexia. Unlike franchises and large centers with rote programs and hired tutors, each program is designed using my expertise and the science of teaching reading, according to what each student needs, based on obtained testing and data. I use Orton-Gillingham in addition to a plethora of other research-based reading practices that I incorporate as needed. I also use high-quality literature that I hand pick according to each person's unique interests and reading level, so that students are consistently applying their newly acquired knowledge to real books, which will foster a love and joy for reading.
